Emma is editing some of the clips we have been filming, there are some clips that we might not use and also we still have to film some more bits that we realised will be useful for our music video. While we are editing emma was trying different video transitions which helps to move to the next clip.

Filming

we found a very dirty ugly looking alleyway where to film Daniel holding up some of the lyric that emma write out. This scene was (hopefully) clearly inspired by Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues. We placed Daniel in the centre of the frame in an alleyway. The reason we chose to film in an ally way

Filming

These are screen shots of when my group and I went to film in Goodmayes Park, Dagenham. We filmed Daniel singing the first two verses of the song, we filmed multiple takes just in case when we get to editing we will have a variety of angles and different takes to use when we are putting together our music video.

Daniel try to dress as much rocky as he can we didn't put to much thought into the dress up but we could always improve it in our next time we film. We had daniel standing ageist the wall to have this cool and band look in our video.

The Album cover digipak First ideas 1

Frankie took time out from our group to start our album cover while the rest of use finish off filming. This is just a draft album cover so the real one might not look exactly like this but it will definitely inspiration for the original.

How our idea fits with the genre

Considering the band we are using come under the Rock/Indie genre of music, we decided to try and create a video that has unique shots in it, but borrows from other famous videos in the genre. Making a video in this genre is very hard because it very difficult to make a video in a rock genre video with out money.

We saw a video by Bombay bicycle club in which the band moved between various colourful backgrounds that appeared gritty on camera, such as a colourful garage. The idea of moving between different settings sounded appealing to us as we could make it look like the lead singer lip syncing was singing the song all at once in these different positions. However where our video is different is we have decided not to go with a story based video, something that is common in the rock genre.
